We bring you an exciting evening of puppetry: meet puppeteer and IFA grantee Anurupa Roy, Togalu Gombeyata master Gunduraju, two artists - animation-designer Aditi Chitre and theatre actor and light designer Vinay Chandra. These artists will present their work, share their experiences from a fifteen-day workshop held in June 2014 and discuss the new trajectories made possible for them from this interaction.

Puppeteer Anurupa Roy received a grant from IFA to organise a fifteen-day puppetry workshop for nine participants from across diverse artistic backgrounds, to work with a master practitioner from the Togalu Gombeyata puppetry tradition, towards addressing the need for building a robust discourse and pedagogy for puppetry in India.

Anurupa Roy received a grant from IFA under its Arts Practice programme.
