India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) is looking for a Manager – Corporate Engagements and Individual Donor to join the Resource Mobilisation and Outreach Team to be responsible for expanding and growing our corporate and individual donor engagements.

IFA is an independent, nationwide, not-for-profit organisation that makes grants and implements projects across research, practice and education in the arts and culture across India. Set up as a Public Charitable Trust in 1993, IFA started making grants in 1995, and has continued its work over 26 years. IFA has supported over 734 arts projects disbursing over Rs 34 crore across India.

The Manager – Corporate Engagements and Individual Donor will work closely with the IFA Team and report to the Head – Resource Mobilisation and Outreach and will be responsible for raising resources from corporate partnerships and individual donors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Corporate Engagements:

  • Build a Corporate Engagement strategy for stronger relationships with the corporate community
  • Raise sponsorships, grants and other support from the corporate sector with specific focus to Corporate Social Responsibility 
  • Design and implement art events and specific arts services to raise funds 
  • Create and sustain networks, collaborations and partnerships 
  • Be responsible for annual fundraising and revenue targets from the corporate sector
Individual Donors:
  • Build sustainable relationships with current individual donors
  • Conceptualise and implement strategies for new donor acquisition 
  • Design and implement specific programmes and initiatives to keep the donor circle engaged and informed
  • Work with the Communications team to conceptualise fundraising campaigns through the year
  • Be responsible for annual fundraising target from the individual donor 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of the Resource Mobilisation and Outreach team and other members across initiatives
  • Support all IFA activities across departments
  • As part of the IFA Team contribute through ideas and take responsibilities for additional work as and when required

ELIGIBILITY:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in fundraising for the non-profit sector. People from arts and culture organisations will be preferred.
  • An in-depth understanding of the functioning of the corporate sector
  • Self-driven, patient and persistent
  • Belief in the values of the arts and able to convincing advocate for support
  • Excellent networking skills
  • Good finance skills
  • Ability to work in a team and across different departments
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
REMUNERATION: Around Rs 9 lakh per annum depending on the candidate's skills and relevant work experience
